Gear Shift Module Tester
The plastic fastener in the GSM can break or become damaged, rendering the GSM unusable. Britpart’s GSM Tester Kit includes durable metal fasteners for replacement. After repairing, the tester allows you to check the GSM without reassembling it into the vehicle, saving time on unnecessary disassembly.
Common Failure Symptoms:
- Gear selection dial won’t rise, fall, or rotate.
- Fault code: P176C-11 - Transmission Range Selector Lock Control Error.
